Introducing Roxbury Chiropractor Dr. Denis Gallagher

The Chiropractor to See In Landing

Simply put I was skeptic...."I suffered with back pain due to a college football injury for nearly a year. I had been to every specialist from physical therapists, world renowned orthopedists, neurologists, you name it I saw them. I was 24 years old and couldn't put on my own pants because of the extreme pain. I was popping pain meds like they were candy. I was desperate to find relief. A co-worker, tired of me complaining, said, "you need to see my chiropractor, you been everywhere else."...I figured at this point I had nothing to lose. If this doesn't work, I'm going to have get surgery. Long story short, after one month of care, I was pain free. My destiny was set. I was going to become a Doctor of Chiropractic.

I attended the "Harvard" of Chiropractic Colleges, Palmer College Of Chiropractic, Davenport, Iowa. Palmer is where chiropractic was founded in 1895.

Dr. Gallagher Asks some important questions of interest to Roxbury residents - Chiropractor Roxbury Dr. Gallagher Asks...

What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
Why does chiropractic work?
Chiropractic works because your nervous system, consisting of your brain, spinal cord and all the nerves of your body, controls and regulates every cell, tissue, organ and system of your body. A chiropractor locates and reduces areas of nervous system compromise (usually along the spine) so your capacity to heal is restored. Chiropractic works by helping your body work as it was designed.
